25 12 V Battery Units 12 V battery units are ideal for very robust animals, long fences and/or fences with vegetation if no 230 V connection is available. The discharge energy is comparable to that of power energisers (output approx. 0.5 to 5 joules). Rechargeable 12 volt batteries are used as the power source, which must be recharged every 2-4 weeks or so depending on the type of device, power requirements and battery type. Solar modules, which convert solar energy into electricity and therefore constantly top up the 12 V battery, are a good supplement. All of our 12 volt devices have deep discharge protection that helps you to maintain the performance of the 12 V batteries.
