1 Following the acquisition of Rutland Electric Fencing, 2020 was certainly not the year we expected. However, despite the challenges we have faced as a new business, we have seen the newly formed Kerbl UK grow from strength to strength. We obviously still have many challenges ahead, however, working together with our parent company Albert Kerbl GmbH and along with the feedback we receive from our customers, we look forward to developing the business further in 2021. Albert Kerbl GmbH is a family business based in Buchbach, Bavaria which is run and owned by Albert and Ulli Kerbl. Since the company’s foundation in 1984, Kerbl can look back on a successful 50 year history and has become a global player within the agricultural sector. This success can be attributed to the company’s foresight, market knowledge and high level of innovation, which has now brought about its vast product portfolio. Rutland Electric Fencing is a core part of our business, with a reputation for excellent quality and reliability. With over 40 years experience in the field, we take great pride in the close working relationships we have developed with our customers. Over the next year, we hope to further establish Kerbl within the UK market through expansion and shaping our processes to improve efficiency, from manufacture through to delivery to customer. The Kerbl UK head office is based in Oakham, Rutland. From here, our knowledgeable customer services team, along with our sales team who cover all of the UK are on hand to advice on all areas of product information and animal husbandry.
