This corrects blood acidosis, restoring the animals’ appetite so that they will drink milk and electrolyte solutions again. feeding recommendation: Calves on milk: • Stir 25 g (1 measuring spoon) per litre into the milk feed. • To prepare a dietary feed: Stir 50 g (2 measuring spoons) into one litre of lukewarm water. Weaning calves (2 weeks before to 2 weeks after weaning): • Feed 100 g (4 measuring spoons) per animal per day, mixed with the ‘ ’ concentrate (e.g. calf starter).
