Recommended duration of use: up to 4 weeks; a treatment period of 5–7 days is usually sufficient. Practical tips: For calves with diarrhoea who are not drinking well, administer a Bufferlyt bolus 2–3 times a day. This corrects blood acidosis, restoring the animals’ appetite so that they will drink milk and electrolyte solutions again.
